This was our third weekend getaway this summer and it just keeps getting better and better each time. Weather was super nice and everything was just perfect. Sunday afternoon (and evening) was was well spend on a boat and cozy dinner with our friends. There was lot of talk, laugh, food and drinks that evening and that’s all you need.
I love this Rare London maxi dress so so much. It’s light and super nice to wear. I pulled it up when we were on a boat so it’s hard to see that it’s actually a maxi dress, but trust me, it is a maxi dress.
My sweet drink date 😉 Well I must correct this, before I get a phone call asking me “only a drink date, ha??” 😉 So my wonderful boyfriend, taking a picture of me while I’m taking a picture of him. Our story is one beautiful and crazy experience so I’m pretty sure I’m going to tell it someday, since it’s too good too keep it just for ourselves. 😉 But right now I’ll just tell you that we were both each others first big loves and first serious boyfriend and girlfriend … so we’re just kind of continuing what we started 10 years ago … and as he said right after we started this love story again “There’s no such thing as an ending, just a new beginning …”
View from our table ↑ – such a good feeling, sitting so close to the sea. Love it!! Smell of it, sound of it … wonderful.
↑ Well this picture is for sure making me hungry again … this was our lunch / dinner at Saturday if I remember correctly. And it was so delicious! + nice and sweet cocktail after dinner = can’t get any better than this!
Everything was just perfect except one last thing that keeps reminding me (negatively) of our weekend getaway. We left on Monday evening and while I was closing huge and heavy slide gates … well I tried to stop it .. with my hand. My bare HAND! So you can imagine this massive gates vs. my small hand and a wall on the other side … it didn’t end too well, but it could be so much worse. And right now my left hand is practically useless, so yeah … it took me all day to write down this post. But lesson learned and I will definitely be more careful next time. Although I might just ask my dear boyfriend to close it next time … that’s an option too. 😉 Since he was more scared for my hand than I was when it happened – I just thought “I don’t have time for this s*** right now!!!” And he was super sweet during our drive home & during our dinner (helping me with my food), so thank you for all babe. You’re the best! 😉
